The rule
One Chapter at a time, finished before the next is begun. When an Edition is gone it is gone; we do not reprint it to meet a season.
The making
Composed and macerated in Grasse over eight weeks, bottled by hand, and numbered on the base under the seal.
The words
Each Chapter is named with the sentence it came from. The sentence is the name on the Bottle, and there is no shorter one.
